What is Talty Literary?
Talty Literary is a place for classes, manuscript guidance, readings, and conversations about books. Morgan Talty founded it. Talty Literary Solutions, Inc. operates it.
What kinds of programs can I explore?
Classes and workshops, manuscript guidance, lectures and readings, programs for readers, and work made with libraries and other organizations.
Who teaches a class?
Their names appear with the work they have agreed to do. A class names its teacher, a manuscript offer names its reader, and an event names everyone taking part.
How do I know whether registration is open?
Check the class listings or upcoming events. A listed program is not automatically open for registration: its own page must give you the dates, terms, and a way to register. If you cannot find what you need, ask about a class.
Can I send a manuscript?
Do not attach one to the general email. Ask about manuscript guidance first. Describe the genre, rough length, and kind of help you need; wait until the scope and file-handling instructions are agreed before sending pages.
Who would read my manuscript?
Agree on a named reader before sending your work.
Can an organization ask about a program?
Yes. Ask about hosting a program. Tell us who it is for, the book or question at its center, and any dates you are working around.
How does the teaching model work?
Each teacher proposes a particular class. The Teaching at Talty Literary page explains what to include.
Is financial assistance available?
If a class has scholarships, discounts, or reduced-cost seats, its page will explain who qualifies and how to ask.
