Ask about a class, a manuscript, a reading, or a program you want to host.
Ask about manuscript guidance
Describe the genre, rough length, and how far along the draft is. Do not attach a manuscript.
Your email app opens with the subject filled in. Sending an inquiry does not register you or subscribe you to announcements.
Your note
A few sentences are enough.
For a program, tell us about the audience and the date. For a teaching question, tell us about the class. You do not need to write a proposal before you write an email.
Manuscripts
Asking about a manuscript
Do not attach a manuscript. You can describe the book—genre, rough length, and how far along it is—but keep the file until you have instructions from a named reader.
