Respectful Participation

Participants are expected to treat instructors, staff, guests, and other participants with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats, intimidation, or repeated disruption are not allowed.

Workshop Trust

Peer drafts, workshop submissions, private class discussion, chat, recordings, and instructor materials should not be shared outside the class without permission.

Critique Standards

Workshop critique should address the work on the page and follow the instructor's method. Participants should avoid personal attacks, cruelty, dismissiveness, or attempts to dominate the room.

Enforcement

Talty Literary may remove a participant from a class, event, mentorship, or community space if they violate this Code, the Terms, manuscript and privacy rules, confidentiality expectations, or course-specific requirements.
