Morgan's method
Two readings, with different purposes.
Morgan's first read follows the manuscript without stopping to edit it. He pays attention to its voice, its movement, where attention holds, and what the whole thing leaves behind.
On the second read, he slows down. He returns to the language, scenes, character decisions, structure, and places where the draft needs another choice.

A response you can revise from
The reader begins with what the manuscript is already doing. Then they point to the places that need work and give you questions worth carrying back to the draft.
The reader is responsible for the feedback. The writer decides how to use it.
Before you send pages
Do not attach a manuscript to the general email. Start by asking about availability and the kind of reading you need. Agree on the reader, scope, response, price, timing, and file-handling instructions before sending pages.
