Classes + workshops

Instructor-led study for writers at different stages.

Talty Literary is developing short workshops and multi-week classes for beginning, intermediate, and advanced writers.

Talty Literary is a literary-education program in development. No class, reading, or consultation is currently open for registration.

Beginning writers

A serious place to begin.

Beginning workshops may focus on craft fundamentals, new-writing exercises, useful reading, early feedback, and habits that help a writer keep working.

Focused workshops

A close look at one craft question or writing practice.

Multi-week classes

Time to read, write, discuss, and revise with one instructor and group.

Reading courses

Close reading and literary discussion for writers and readers.

Revision courses

Sustained attention to structure, language, and the choices a draft presents.

The instructor standard

The instructor is named before registration opens.

The person teaching a class is responsible for its design, reading, discussion, and feedback. Talty Literary will publish that person's biography and the complete class terms before accepting a registration or fee.

These are program plans, not current offers.

No place can be reserved and no payment is being accepted. Confirmed classes will appear here only after the instructor, scope, dates, fee, access information, and participation terms are settled.
